IRA2 ADVANCED ACCESS & RESCUE

ROPE ACCESS

IRA2 Advanced Access & Rescue

This program is designed for those who take their work very seriously and want to further develop their range of skills. Over four days we look at more technical access techniques such as aid climbing and leading on steel as well as introducing a range of more complex rescues. Breaking into loaded lines, rescue from aid, under deck retrievals, long rope change rescue and Tyrolean evacuations are just some of the higher level scenarios we will workshop extensively. We will also look at stretcher rigging (Stokes basket type, evac body splint and Spec Pac) and deal with mechanical advantage systems in great detail.
