Material largely taken from the very extensive book ‘Self Rescue’ by David Fasulo and aimed squarely at the recreational climber who knows how to lead but has no idea what to do in an emergency. Just imagine you are three pitches up, two to go, and the leader falls - only this time they are injured and hanging free of the route. Lowering is not an option and he / she can't help him / herself. What would you do? In this one day seminar we analyse and physically workshop a number of 'possible' scenarios - leader falls, seconds falling free of the route, backing off when more than half a rope length out, jammed abseil lines on a multi pitch descent and a host of other 'real life scenarios'. Invaluable training for the climber who wants to get out and push their limit on the bigger stuff.
